Subject:- Guidelines for implementation of IT-Education in Government schools.
Memo;
In continuation to this office letter of even number dated 29.4.2013 on the above
cited subject.
This is to inform you that the Government of Himachal Pradesh has decided to
impart IP/IT-Education as an optional subject in all the Government Schools of the state for the
students of 9th to 12th classes on self-financing basis, through National Institute of Electronics
and Information Technology (NIELIT), Chandigarh from this academic session i.e. 2013-14.
In this regard, you are directed to impart IP/IT-Education subject as an optional
subject in your schools for the students of 9th to 12th classes on self-financing basis. You are also
directed to make use of ICT Lab/ CAL Lab whichever is available in your school, for imparting
IP/IT Education if the IT-Lab is not available.
It has also come in to the notice of the undersigned that some of the Principals are
not allowing the IT faculty to join as per the agreement made between the NIELIT & individual
concerned. Therefore all the concerned are directed to allow the faculty to join in the schools.
These instruction be followed in letter and spirit, any deviation from these instruction will
warrant disciplinary action.

Monthwise Penalty imposed to Company and Total Penalty amount available in that Account.
APR of 50% Reimbursement of IT Fee if pending in your school.
